Project-Based Builds · $200/hr

Get the system built. Skip the big retainer.

Bring me the build you keep putting off, from one Zap to your whole onboarding flow. I build it, hand it over with walkthroughs and docs, and you pay hourly for the time it actually takes.

What I build

If it's a system, I've probably built it.

Client onboarding workflows

The whole journey, inquiry to offboarding, for one offer or several. Built in your CRM and connected with Zapier.

Notion + task system builds

Second brains, client portals, project management systems, and more.

Zapier workflows

Getting two (or ten) of your apps to finally talk to each other.

CRM setups

Including process mapping if you need it. Already mapped? I'll follow what you have and suggest improvements as I go.

Upgrades + fixes

Optimize your CRM, Notion, task system, Zapier automations and more. How they look and feel, how they work, or both.

+ a whole lot more. Got something niche? That's my fav. Ask me.

Two ways to use it

A focused build, or your whole backend at your pace.

Option 1

Focused builds + fixes

You've got a specific system you want built or fixed, and done right. We scope it, I build it, and you get it handed over ready to use.

Option 2

The slow-build backend

Same work as Total Systems Revamp, at a pace that fits your budget. We set a monthly cap (up to $2,000/mo, or whatever works for you) and I chip away at your whole backend one system at a time.

The cap is a max, not a minimum. Retainer clients get first priority on my time, so the pace moves with my availability.

And if a retainer spot is about to open up and fill, I'll check in with my project clients first, so you get first dibs on upgrading before I sign someone new.

How it works

From "can you build this?" to it's yours.

01

Tell me what you need

Fill out my inquiry form with what you're looking to build. I'll check that it's a fit, then send you a link to book a call (or DM me on Threads or IG if that's more your style).

02

We scope it

We talk through what you want built and your budget. If you want an estimate, I'll give you my best range.

03

Deposit + agreement

A $200 deposit for projects I expect to land at $600 or less, $500 for everything else. Then you get Slack access and a secure way to share your logins.

04

Kickoff + build

We do a kickoff call, or for smaller stuff you just send me a Loom. Then I build. We're in Slack the whole time, and we hop on calls whenever either of us has questions.

05

Walkthrough + docs

I walk you through how everything works and put together Loom walkthroughs plus SOPs or system guides.

06

30 days of support, then it's yours

Slack stays open for 30 days for tweaks and questions from you or your team. After that, everything gets handed over: docs in whatever format you want, video walkthroughs saved to your drive, final invoice, done.

$200/hr

  • $175/hr if you're a Systems Hotline member
  • $200 minimum. Even a 15-minute fix needs planning.
  • Deposit: $200 for projects around $600 or less, $500 for everything else
  • Billed after the work is done, for the time it actually took

How pricing actually works

Real talk: I'm not going to hand you a fixed quote.

A Zap could take me 15 minutes, or it could take a week or two of strategizing, testing, and tweaking. A lot of what I build is niche, and I don't always know what I'm getting into until I'm in it.

So instead, you tell me your budget. A one-time number for smaller projects, or a monthly cap for bigger ones. We pace the work to fit it.

Want an estimate anyway? I'll give you my best range, with the heads up that systems projects tend to grow once you see what systems can do. 😏

What you get

Way more than the build.

💬

Slack access the whole project. Same as my Coaching and TSR clients. Questions, updates, Looms, all in one place.

☎️

Calls as needed. A kickoff, plus a call any time one of us has questions or I need to show you how something works.

🎥

Loom walkthroughs + SOPs. So you (and your team) know how it all works long after we're done.

30 days of support after handoff. If something's broken because of me, fixing it is on me. Other tweaks are billed at your hourly rate.

From people who've had me build for them

"Working with Michelle has been such a valuable experience. She has been incredibly helpful, patient, and flexible throughout the process of building out my custom real estate transaction and marketing dashboard in Notion. This was a very niche project with a lot of moving pieces, unique workflows, and processes that were not always easy for me to explain clearly.

Michelle asked thoughtful questions, listened closely, and was able to get to the core of what I needed, even when I could not fully pinpoint it myself yet. She is not just creating something that works for a general use case; she is building something that supports a very specific business, workflow, and way of thinking. She made my brain feel seen, heard, and understood."

Katy Wright · RHEO VA

"As someone who manages over 200 weddings a year and a team of 28, I needed systems and automations in place to support our growing business and quickly. As soon as I connected with Michelle, I knew immediately she was the one to help me put the puzzle pieces together.

Our project was quite large and Michelle made everything feel so easeful. Whenever I had questions about any part of our automation she responded within minutes. I have felt so supported through our journey together and couldn't be happier with how seamless our processes are.

I consider Michelle as part of our team and will always recommend her to everyone who needs reliable and trusted work done."

Project-based might not be the right fit if…

✕It's a quick thing, under an hour of work, and you'd rather knock it out together. Book a 90-Minute Session and we'll do it right then and there, no back and forth.

✕You want to do the building yourself, with someone guiding you. That's 1:1 Coaching.

✕You want your entire backend systemized, how it all works together, and you want first priority on my time. That's Total Systems Revamp.

✕You want someone you can keep sending ad-hoc projects, fixes and requests to, month after month. That's what Systems Hotline is for.

Questions

The fine print.

Can you give me a quote?

I'll give you my best range if you want one. Custom systems work is hard to quote exactly, so most of the time we work from your budget instead and pace the build to fit it.

Is there a minimum?

$200. Even if the fix itself takes 15 minutes, there's planning involved. For anything under an hour, a 90-Minute Session is usually the better move, since we can just do it together on the call.

How is the slow-build backend different from Total Systems Revamp?

It's the same work, at a lower monthly cap (up to $2,000/mo) and a slower pace. Retainer clients get first priority on my time, so project hours aren't guaranteed each month. If you want my top priority and the fastest pace, that's TSR.

What happens during the 30 days after handoff?

Slack stays open for tweaks and questions from you and your team. If something's broken because of a mistake on my end, I fix it free. Other changes are billed at your hourly rate. After 30 days, everything's handed over and the systems are all yours.

Do Hotline members get a discount?

Yes. Project work is $175/hr for Systems Hotline members. And Hotline already includes up to 3 hours of done-for-you work plus 60 minutes of call time every month, so a lot of smaller builds and fixes might just be covered by your membership before you ever get an hourly invoice.

Let's build the thing.

Send me what you're looking to build. I'll take a look and reach out with next steps.
